Miscellaneous

There are several boxes of material that represent accumulations of consignments that were donated to the MPHS. The following lots are some of this material. They are very generally described and are priced to sell.

120 US. Hawaii covers. Fifty+ covers from different airfields in Hawaii. Mostly WWII. Some postcards. Two folders. $10

121 US. Navy. Fifty+ covers. Mostly WWII. A few from USS Ashtabula (same sender) in 1960s. Some related to Viet Nam. One from War College Br. Dated Oct 19, 1939. $10

122 US. Twenty + covers from post-WWII Japan. Twelve WWII covers from Okinawa. Mostly APO 96, also APO 331 and APO 180. $10

123 US. Sixteen covers from US soldiers and chaplains stationed in the UK during WWII with British postage. $10

124 US. Twenty different patriotic covers WWII, plus a few post-WWII. $10

Note: Material is needed for MPHS Auction 221. Deadline for lots to reach the Auctioneer is July 31.

Note that we now have a very favorable commission structure for those consignors willing to do some work: if you submit lots that you have described, have a minimum bid associated with each lot, and the total of the minimum bids is at least $100, then the MPHS commission is only 5% of the sale price for each lot, rather than the normal 15%.
