Background

The Military Postal History Society has published several books over the years, ranging in size from 200 pages covering a single subject, to multiple volume projects. One example of a multiple-volume, multiple-year project includes the extensive numbered military post office locations (APO) series.

Around 2023, the MPHS Board decided that there was room for publications sized between Journal articles and full-length books. Thus began the publication of a number of monographs. The plan was to publish twice a year, depending on available material and authors.

Distribution

The Board of Directors of the MPHS have determined that, when a new monograph is published, existing members of the MPHS will receive a free copy of that monograph. Members may opt for paper copy or PDF e-document.

Once each monograph has been distributed, it will continue to be available to all MPHS members as a PDF e-document.

Note that some monographs have been published through Amazon, and are available to anyone in paper form, at a price to be determined at the time of publication.
