This is the third monograph in a series produced by members of the Military Postal History Society, published in June 2025.
Content
This monograph depicts West Point as it prepares for the Great War, also known as World War I. This is done through the eyes of Cadet Henry Henley Chapman utilizing philatelic and historical documentation. Henry was a West Point graduate, class of 1917, who went on to a leadership position in the Great War in France. Ultimately, he gave his life for his country on September 29, 1918.
