1944, US, Kriegsgefangenenhilfe CVJM (YMCA)
These cards, printed in black, were provided to German prisoners of war being held in the US. The face appears to have been designed from the then-current WD PMG Form 6-1, with Sender/Absender added and without the form information on the face and the GPO printing code on the back. The card stock, like that used for the government-printed forms, was infused with copper sulfate designed to show any secret writing.
