47. Mystery. A 3 1/2" diameter apparently copper disc engraved with Navy eagle and anchor insignia with 13 stars and painted in red, white, blue and grey. Reverse has a built-in screw to aid in placing on helmet or other device. My consultant did not have a clew either on what the purpose of this is. Some paint worn off and slight indentation. I do not even know period but am placing it here to get Naval attention. F. (146)
