The Theo Van Dam Military Postal History Society Grand Award

Introduction
This award is presented, since 1992, to the best military exhibit entered in the show, by a member of the society, during the MPHS Annual Meeting.
Per an article in the Bulletin:
Joe Taylor was the first MPHS member to receive the new award, a carved wooden eagle. The new trophy was introduced at this year’s convention by Awards Chairman Bob Lana.

COMMENT: I am beginning to wonder whether the 'MPHS awards' are NOT the Theo Van Dam Grand award. Perhaps all these belong in the 'Exhibit Award' instead .
