KRIEGSGEFANGENENPOST 2. WK 1940/1944 (ca.): mehr als 3400 Faltbriefen und Karten aus verschiedenen Lagern (meist Stalag) von Kriegsgefangenen in deutschem Gewahrsam bzw. von deren Angehörigen. Die Post lief meist nach Belgien und Frankreich oder von dort in die Lager. Die Vielfalt der Zensurstempel/Vermerke ist enorm. Eine Zusammenstellung von großer postgeschichtlicher und zeitgeschichtlicher Bedeutung. Eine Liste der Lager und der Stückzahl der jeweils von dort vorhandenen Belege liegt dem Lot bei (siehe auch Scan davon im Web). Das ebenfalls beiliegende zweibändige Werk von G. Matiello und W. Vogt mit genauer Lokalisierung der Lager und Verzeichnis der dort verwendeten Zensurstempel ergänzt dieses umfangreiche Konvolut. Es versteht sich von selbst, dass ein Teil der Belege in Anbetracht der Umstände, die seinerzeit herrschten, etwas unterschiedlich erhalten sind.
