Dann is retiring (again!). Even if you don&#8217;t have the time or expertise, if you KNOW anyone who could assist our Society, please contact <a href=\"mailto:dannmphsmayo@mphsbod.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Editor Dann Mayo<\/a>. The <em>Journal<\/em> is the vital lifeblood of this Society; without it, we could easily fail. Do not let this happen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Upcoming Board Elections<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A slate of Board of Directors positions and officers has been filled. Per the bylaws, they are unopposed and will be your officers for 2027. Any questions, please contact <a href=\"mailto:treaty.ports@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Temporary President Earl Toops<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Monograph Activity<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Society is closer to completing some new  monographs. More material is needed! If you have an idea, a topic, or can help, this important project needs you. See the <a href=\"https:\/\/militaryphs.org\/MONO\">Monographs<\/a> web set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Recruiting New Members&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Like most special-interest Societies, we need to attract new members! Your help is needed. Your action could be as simple as placing Bulletin issues in your local library. You do NOT need to be a Board member, you do not have to hold office or attend meetings, in order to help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the ideas suggested to attract new members is the creation of YouTube videos on military-postal-history-related topics. Your Society needs immediate help with the &#8220;nuts and bolts&#8221; of video creation.
