Introduction
The web offers nearly infinite opportunities for people to post items and knowledge unique to their interests. Thus, navigation through this mass is quite difficult.
Enter the “search engine”.
However, what we might call “general search engines” are trying to somehow identify everything for everyone. Obviously not generally helpful for the postal history researcher.
Fortunately, some “search” websites have been created just for the philatelically-inclined.
Helpful Search Links
WikiMedia tries to index all media, including images, found on the web. Try this example:
Exponet has 1,100+ philatelic exhibits and articles online, including many that are military-related. Use their search engine to get started.

The American Philatelic Society
The American Philatelic Research Library (APRL) is a great resource. In particular, they offer over 1,000 online philatelic resource links from their “catalog” website.
Philately.live aims to be the master resource for all things philatelic.
