MPHS CHICAGOPEX Friday (11/21/2025) Dinner

The MPHS is hosting an Italian Buffet dinner at the nearby Itasca Country Club on November 21, 2025, the Friday night of CHICAGOPEX 2025, starting at 7PM preceded by 6 to 7 PM social hour with a cash full service bar.

Tickets are $60 per person. We must meet an October 31 cut-off (sorry; the facility wants a head count and money in advance!)

Transportation

Itasca Country Club (400 East Orchard Street, Itasca, IL 60143) is a ten minute drive from the Westin Chicago Northwest hotel. (See map below). The hotel van will be available for members needing a ride, but it does have limited seating. The first of several van trips will leave the hotel at 5:30PM. If you are driving and can accommodate extra passengers please note so in your reservation request. To make up for the possible shortfall in van space, MPHS will have “need ride” and “have ride” lists at our Society table.

Signing Up

The meal cost is $60 dollars per person, and MPHS Treasurer Eric Knapp will be handling tickets sales. Payments can be made via PayPal to mphspayments@att.net or by check (payable to MPHS) sent to Eric Knapp, 8163 Grayhawk Cir., Anchorage, AK 99507. Please include a note with your payment: “CHICAGOPEX 2025 Dinner.”

Your early response is needed. The Country Club requires a firm head count on October 31st. After that date all ticket sales will be final and our ability to add diners to the dinner order will be severely limited at best.

Please join us for our CHICAGOPEX dinner. This is your opportunity to meet fellow members you may only know from their journal articles or email correspondence. To maximize your enjoyment, the head of MPHS has committed to keeping his welcoming remarks to an absolute minimum.
