The above quote is from a handout created by John M. Hotchner, which was distributed to discussion seminars that took place at PIPEX 2024.
The discussions leading up to PIPEX brought about the creation of "The Collaboration Crew". That informal group is made up of interested parties from a variety of philatelic societies, all of whom are deeply committed to preserving what we have, and to growing, rather than shrinking, their membership.
The APS has published a news item about the Collaboration Crew, as well as an article in the July issue of the AP. These items include the announcement that there will be additional meetings and seminars for the Collaboration Crew at the Great American Stamp Show in August 2024.
Another handout created by The Collaboration Crew was an assessment page for determining the effectiveness of the management of a philatelic society.
