Military Postal History Society Material for Members Only

Introduction

Members of The Military Postal History Society (MPHS) have access to publications and research material that is not available to the general public. This web page attempts to supply links to the "members only" section of the website to make it easier to access the individual document files.

IMPORTANT!

In order for members of The Military Postal History Society (MPHS) to access these files, they must enter a username/password that is supplied quarterly to the membership. The new password for the next quarter is supplied in a bulk email sent to all members who have email addresses. It is a good idea to save this email, should access be required during the quarter!

Journal (Bulletin)

Current and back issues of the Journal (previous Bulletin) are only available to members when they fall into a "5-year window" of publication. Any back issues that fall outside this "window" are public, and do not require any special passwords. At this time, the master index (up to 2022) is the best way to search for, and view public PDF files of back issues.

Other Publications

As of June 2025, the Society has been provided with member-only access to First World War books written by Bob Swanson. The primary book is the listing and history of all known domestic U. S. military facilities in the First World War. It was first published in 2000, and was updated with a second edition in 2018. In addition, Mr. Swanson has made available the monograph “Bluejacket Mail: A Postal History of the Great Lakes Naval Training Station During World War I”.
