This is an election year. All four officer positions, president
vice president secretary and treasurer and seven directors
need to be chosen. Per our Bylaws nominations will be
made by the Nominating Ballot Committee but are also
open to the membership at large. If you wish to serve, or
nominate another contact me or any current board
member.

The MPHS board had its third virtual meeting February 9.
An additional virtual meeting regarding MPHS
publications, past, present, and future will be held on
March 26. The board welcomes your thoughts!
Zoom meetings have resumed for the year with a stellar
presentation by Kurt Stauffer on Stalag XVIIB mail (if
only he had mail for Sefton). It is available on the website
for those who missed it. Expect Zoom presentations every
two months. Contact Harold Krische if you have a talk
in mind.

The fate of the MPHS auction will be in your hands later
this year. The board decided to move to a semiannual
auction. The first of these will be in published October of
this year, closing in early December. To continue having
auctions, we need more bidders and more consignors.

The MPHS annual meeting will be at NOJEX October 14 –
16th 2022. Sites for 2023 and 2024 are under discussion.
PARTICIPATION is the key word. Our Society will be as
strong as its members make it. We can only ask the Society
to do more for us, if we will do more for the MPHS.
